Location: Portland, Oregon
Morrison Bridge: Finished in 1958, the Morrison Bridge, a drawbridge, lies north of the
Hawthorne Bridge and south of the Burnside Bridge downtown. The east
side approaches are Belmont Street and Morrison Street; the west side approaches
are Washington Street and Alder Street. This bridge replaced an earlier
bridge built in the 1890's.
The Morrison Bridge is not lit most of the year anymore - only around the December holidays.
This Shoot: A foggy morning at the Portland waterfront, while the Morrison Bridge was lit for the holidays.
