Location: Portland, Oregon
Sellwood Bridge: Finished in 1925, this bridge connects OR-43 on the west side - just
south of Johns Landing - to the Portland neighborhood of Sellwood on
the east side.
The bridge has been crumbling in recent years and there has been talking repairing or replacing it for years. As of 2005 trucks and TriMet buses are no longer allowed to cross the bridge. Everyone on both sides of the bridge will be happier when the bridge is finally fixed or replaced!
This Shoot: Sellwood Bridge and some buildings at the South Waterfront development in Portland.
