Astoria-Megler Bridge: This long bridge, completed in 1966, connects Oregon to Washington at Astoria, OR, at the mouth of the Columbia River.

This Shoot: Sometimes you get lucky with the weather; a few hours before I took these pictures, it was raining and I drove back to Portland in the rain, too; but for a few hours, we had clearing and this amazing sunset in Astoria, Oregon, at the mouth of the Columbia River.
