Building where Jimi Hendrix Experience made their debut

This Photo: On a walking tour of London in 2000, the tour guide told us that this building is where the Jimi Hendrix Experience made their debut public performance. I have since learned that the Experience actually had their debut in France, so this may have been their British public debut. Of course, Hendrix had been performing for years live in the states backing such acts as the Isley Brothers and Wilson Pickett.

Our tour guide also told us that John and Yoko met in an art gallery just to the left of this building...
