Pros:

Beautiful, unique Portland neighborhood, not a "grid"
Close to Hawthorne and downtown Portland

Cons:

A tad expensive
First-time visitors to your house will probably get lost

Driving into Ladd's Addition is like entering another world. The roads are not set on a traditional grid but rather zig-zag around four little rose gardens and a circular garden right in the middle. Tall trees adorn the sidewalks of the streets entering the area - you could almost forget you are in a big city inside.

Forget about cutting through Ladd's Addition as a short cut - you'll just get lost. My friend calls it "the vortex."
